Sit somewhere else
Venice was first. It does not have to be the only one.
A sit club is the easiest thing in the world to start, which is most of its appeal. You need a time, a place with seats, and at least one other person willing to sit in one of them. There is no app, no route, no gear and no fee, so there is almost nothing to organise.
What a chapter gets
The rulebook, the Chairman artwork, and a set of instructions that amount to: pick a spot, post the time, sit down. Use the name, use the rules, and do not charge anyone for any of it.
Keep it open
The one thing worth protecting is that anybody can turn up alone and not feel like they gatecrashed something. Post the time publicly, sit somewhere anyone can walk up to, and do not make it a private hang with a name.
Start one where you live
Venice was first. There is no reason it has to be the only one. Tell us your city and we will send you the rulebook, the artwork, and instructions that amount to: pick a spot, post the time, sit down.
